President Joe Biden celebrated on Friday the two-year anniversary of his inauguration.
Biden took to Twitter and said: “Today marks two years since @KamalaHarris and I were sworn into office. These are the two strongest years for job growth on record, and unemployment is the lowest it’s been in 50 years. While there’s more work to do, we’ve made real progress for the American people.”
In his tweet, the president also shared a photograph of his inauguration on Jan. 20, 2021, where he was sworn in by Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts alongside his wife, First Lady Jill Biden.

It did not take long for many social media users to respond to Biden’s tweet, with some calling his presidency “elder abuse.”
When Biden took office, inflation was at 1.4%, gas prices were at $2.39/gal, and real wages were positive.
2 years later, inflation has been at or above 5% for 20 months, gas prices have been over $3/gal for almost 20 months, & real wages have been negative yr/yr for 21 months.

Speaking with Fox News, several Republicans tore into Biden and rated his presidency an “F.”
Wyoming GOP Sen. John Barrasso said: “Halfway through President Biden’s term in office, he deserves an ‘F’ for failing the American people. Wyoming families can’t afford another two years of Joe Biden’s failures. For two years Joe Biden has waged a war on Wyoming and American energy. He’s driven inflation to a 40-year high and borrowed trillions of dollars to pay off his liberal base. President Biden caused the worst border crisis in history. As commander-in-chief, he embarrassed the nation with his deadly surrender to terrorists in Afghanistan. The American people want more American energy, lower inflation, a strong military, a secure border, and safe communities. Senate Republicans will continue to fight for the American people’s priorities every day. We will hold Joe Biden accountable for his failures. We will work to undo the historic damage Democrats have done in such a short time.”
Florida Republican Rep. Byron Donalds said: “My evaluation of their performance is the same as last year, with a capital F. F for failure, flagrant, feeble, fruitless, and futile. Under this administration, America is more divided, in debt, and in danger due to its reckless handling of the border, out-of-control spending, the dismantling of America’s energy infrastructure, weaponization of our federal government, and constant division based on race and cultural movements. Their ‘success’ is America’s failure, and House Republicans will now hold them accountable in the 118th Congress.”
New York GOP Rep. Elise Stefanik shared a similar statement: “Joe Biden has earned an F for his failed leadership. Due to two years of his failed policies, every American is paying more for almost everything, and his failure to enforce the law at our southern border is making this humanitarian and fentanyl crisis worse. This is Biden’s state of crisis, but House Republicans in the new majority are committed to providing a critical check on this administration.”
Biden’s also under fire after classified documents were discovered in the garage of Biden’s Wilmington home as well as his think tank.
There are also questions surrounding a lack of transparency on why the U.S. Secret Service does not have any visitor logs from Biden’s Delaware home.
Republican Rep. James Comer, chairman of the House Oversight and Accountability Committee, is demanding the logs and more answers.
“Given the serious national security implications, the White House must provide the Wilmington residence’s visitor log,” Comer wrote to White House chief of staff Ron Klain. “As Chief of Staff, you are head of the Executive Office of the President and bear responsibility to be transparent with the American people on these important issues related to the White House’s handling of this matter.”
Kentucky GOP Rep. James Comer said: “President Biden has spent a large amount of time at his Delaware residence since assuming office. Americans deserve to know who President Biden is meeting with, especially since we know that he routinely met with Hunter’s business associates during his time as vice president. The Biden Administration must provide transparency to the American people.”
South Carolina Republican Rep. Nancy Mace also demanded answers from Biden over his Delaware visits, arguing that everyone who comes “into close proximity with the President, in an official or personal capacity, is screened by the Secret Service” and that their record of coming close to the president “exists somewhere.”
“It’s bad if there is official business being conducted and they aren’t telling us with who,” Mace said. “It’s even worse the Administration is using the Secret Service to excuse its complete and total lack of transparency.”
